There is rigour and data behind everything we do!

Our research shows that this is one of the most complex, challenging and daunting roles we have come across in 25 years of research. In Flourish, our purpose is to help school leaders develop sustainable leadership practices, making them highly effective, highly engaged leaders who love their role, all the while having great personal wellbeing. Better leaders help build better schools.

We are evidence based

The program was built from the latest research into wellbeing and performance and is the only program of it’s kind to measure the impact through a University – not by us.

Designed with School Leaders

While we researched the work of school leaders, we took the time to ask them their thoughts, what they believed they needed, what would work and what wouldn’t and we incorporated this into the program.

We get results

Leaders who go through the program, see improvements in areas like time spent in the more strategic parts of the role, reductions in interruptions and stress levels and improvements in work-family balance, among others. See results HERE.

Proven ROI

An external actuary reviewed the program’s ROI. Due to improvements in productivity from increased effectiveness, and reductions in productivity losses from absenteeism, there was a demonstrated cost benefit ratio of 1/2.99 - 299%.

Driven by Data

We are driven by data. It’s been data that led us to design and develop this program and it is data that continues to make it successful. The data is what allows us to evolve the program on an ongoing basis that every group we run is customised to that group’s needs. This is how we continue to get consistent results for our Flourishers!  Put simply, data is our middle name (ok Adam’s middle name is Michael but you see where we are going here).

We have released our report on the success of the program in 2022 (yes, even over the pandemic) as well as a report into how sustainable the successes are for participants. The findings of our work are so rigorous, they have been presented at the Industrial and Organisational Psychology conference in 2019 and have been published in scientific journals. You can see how much we love our data by the fact that the report is over 100 pages – Don’t worry there is a summary  report as well as an executive summary up front for those of you who’s level of geek is not as high.
